Rusif Huseynov meets NATO delegation
On 25 June 2026, Topchubashov Center Director Rusif Huseynov participated in a meeting with NATO delegation during the latter`s visit to Azerbaijan.
The meeting brought together other representatives of Azerbaijan’s expert community, including Fariz Ismayilzade, Member of Parliament, and Vasif Huseynov, Head of Department at the Center of Analysis of International Relations. The NATO delegation comprised Kevin Hamilton, the NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the South Caucasus and Central Asia, Alexander Vinnikov, Head of the NATO Liaison Office for the South Caucasus, and Steffan Elgersma, NATO Officer responsible for the South Caucasus.
The parties exchanged views on Azerbaijan–NATO relations, recent developments in the South Caucasus, and broader geopolitical and security issues.
