Simona Scotti delivers training course in Italy
On 1 October 2025, Topchubashov Center Research Fellow Simona Scotti took part as a lecturer in a training course organized by the Italian Carabinieri for diplomatic and military officers of the African Union, focusing on environmental management and sustainable reconstruction in post-conflict areas. The course took place in Sabaudia, Italy, at the Center of Excellence for Environmental Protection.
She delivered a session on integrating environmental protection, renewable energy, and community resilience into post-war recovery efforts, and engaged in discussions with participants from across the African continent.
