On 3-5 October 2024, Simona Scotti has attended the XVI SESAMO Conference on Middle Eastern and North African Studies, held at Università degli Studi di Cagliari. Together with other speakers, she has been discussing developments in the region and attended the panel "Turkey Between the Past and Today's World. Who's and How's the Other?"
