Azar Haziyev is an independent researcher based in Warsaw, Poland. His research interests include the socio-political processes in Central and Eastern Europe and South Caucasus. Azar is a graduate of a joint master’s degree program in International Relations: Europe from Visegrad Perspective organized by Jagiellonian University (Poland), Masaryk University (Czechia), University of Pécs (Hungary), and Matej Bel University (Slovakia). He obtained his bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the Academy of Public Administration (Azerbaijan). Besides, he has a background in anti-money laundering, peacebuilding, and youth work.
