The CEPA-Magyar Foundation Fellowship ProgramThe CEPA-Magyar Foundation Fellowship Program brings one young Hungarian early- to mid-career professional to Washington, D.C. for a six-month fellowship in an effort to foster new transatlantic thinkers in Hungary. While in Washington, the Fellow will develop expertise in American policy and transatlantic relations, engage in analytical training in transatlantic policy issues, and will build a network of contacts in the transatlantic expert community. He or she will conduct research on a policy issue related to transatlantic relations and will have the opportunity to consult with a wide range of CEPA fellows, experts, and staff on his or her research and analysis, network with the policy and expert communities, and learn how to produce high-quality policy analysis. The Fellow will benefit from having special access to lectures and seminars conducted by CEPA senior analysts and experts on U.S.-CEE related topics, in-house events with U.S. and CEE experts and policymakers, and will have access to CEPA’s extensive network of U.S. and CEE contacts and partners. The Fellow will be required to write three short articles on transatlantic policy questions, under the guidance of CEPA’s analytical team of scholars.

 

To be eligible, applicants must:

-be a citizen of, and reside in Hungary;

-be employed in national government, politics, think tanks, or journalism (editorial or correspondent) whose work relates to issues of immediate concern to the transatlantic community,

-have excellent written and verbal English language skills; and

-complete the Application form and submit as instructed.
