The University of Tartu Narva College and Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies invite young scholars to the Narva XVIII International Student Research Conference «Neglecting the borders: Dimensions of EU-RUS relations» to be held on 19-21 April, 2018.

You are welcome to take part in academic discussions led by students and young scholars in the EU-Russia border town of Narva. If you are a bachelor’s or master’s student and have your own piece of research, either as a thesis or a work in progress, this conference is a good opportunity not only to share your ideas with other students, but also to make some inspiring and valuable international contacts.

The conference will focus on various aspects of EU-Russia relations. The call for papers covers six main topics: education, linguistics and culture, Russian language and culture, youth work, trans-boundary entrepreneurship, and Russian and International Studies.

The conference's main working language is English. For Russian language and culture, education, and linguistics and culture thematic sections, abstracts and presentations are acceptable in Russian and English.

Call for abstracts is open till January 8, 2018.
